Become a Cassava member to access priority reservations and invitations to special events, all with a personal house account that can be used toward any purchase at Cassava.
Cassava is a beloved French-Californian neighborhood bistro by the husband and wife team, Chef Kristoffer Toliao and Yuka Ioroi. We opened in 2012 in the Outer Richmond neighborhood as an 8-seat cafe, moonlighting as a pop-up tasting menu restaurant.
In October 2022, we moved to our current North Beach location. With our signature 3-course prix fixe dinner, fun a la carte selections including Kris's Burger and Fried Chicken for lunch and dinner, Cassava is North Beach's new favorite place to dine any time of the day.
Cassava has received accolades from SF Chronicle, San Francisco Magazine, Eater SF, among others, for not only Chef Kris' creative cuisine, but also our pursuit of equitable restaurant operations. Chef Kris and Yuka were named by the James Beard Awards in 2022 as semi-finalists in the Outstanding Restauranteur category.

As a Cassava member, you will enjoy the following dining benefits:
- $80 of credits is added to your house account each month. Your credits will roll over and never expire for the duration of your membership.
- Access to reservations through a members-only page with expanded availabilities.
Membership is $75 per month.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does my house account work?
As a Cassava member, you will receives a house account that can be used for dining and retail at Cassava. When you let the staff at Cassava know that you're a member either by leaving a note on your reservation or telling our staff when you check in, you will have the option to pay for your meal with your house account.
$80 in credits are added to your house account every month. Credits do not expire and roll over month-to-month as long as you hold an active membership. If your meal happens to cost more than the amount of credits you have remaining, the difference will be charged to your payment method on file automatically.
You will still get a receipt for your meal, but you will not need to settle the bill using your credit card.
